Have you ever thought why the President of the U.S is so irritating to us?

I think that the way he talks the way and acts is disgusting to us, because he is the expression of our society, he is the reflection of our common attitude in front of everything, the difference is that WE criticize everyone through social media, he does it in front of the cameras.

We called him a racist, and maybe he is… but what about us? Do we really accept all kinds of people in our daily lives? Are we respectful to the people who do not think like us? Who have another education? Other traditions? Do we respect our children’s friends?

We accuse him of denigrating women, however, do we really respect all women? Including his wife? Including our children’s teachers?

We do not support his bullying! But, are we respectful when he is talking? Do we respect the people who are different or think different? Do we post memes when someone makes a mistakes?

Now, what can we do with our children? How we can raise them through this moment when all of this is happening?

First, we need to try to remember when we were children… Our parents also had problems, the world was also struggling with different problems, and maybe we were scared about the future.

Our kids are now scared, they don’t know really what’s is happening.

With little kids, be careful, don’t talk in front of them about these problems, they are big for them, they can be overwhelmed with all these kinds of talks. Just raise them with virtues and values.

With teenagers, show them how they need to treat others, the need to respect each other, including the people who are aggressive and intolerant. If you talk about the news, verify first that they are real news, and not fake ones… because nowadays, we have more fake than real news. Go to the source, don’t be fooled.

With young adults, listen to them, try to understand their points of views, encourage them to also go to the source and investigate the reality of everything, show them that they can have their own opinion, but always, always with good and real arguments.

Remember that we have a big responsibility with our children, that we are building their future, we must think, what kind of children am I giving to the world, not just what kind of world am I raising my children in.
